CELEBRATING THE WORKERS WE'VE LOST AND FIGHTING FOR THE FUTURE

Whether it's the CDC that takes action in the time of a pandemic, OSHA keeping your workplace safe with proper PPE, or the FDA making sure we have safe vaccines that will help you, not harm you, there's a real human cost to the false prophecy that government is the problem.

Governments provide services. Everyone needs services at some point that exceed the capabilities of local or state governments. This is why we rely on the federal government to be fully equipped when crisis strikes. This Workers' Memorial Day, take a moment to remember the workers that we have lost - both during the COVID-19 pandemic and throughout our movement's history.

On April 28, the unions of the AFL-CIO will observe Workers Memorial Day to remember those who have suffered and died on the job, and to renew the fight for safe jobs. We will be holding a candlelight vigil via Facebook Live tonight at 7:00 PM PST. Join us here for a special message and a moment of silence for the lost.

You can file a workplace safety complaint online with OSHA here.

Honor the past. Protect the future. Join the American labor movement.
