We're inspired to see young people stepping up into leadership positions within the union community, like Kooper Caraway, president of the Sioux Falls AFL-CIO. The future of labor movement is bright.

"[Being the youngest person in the room and the leader] is something for me to get used to, and for the labor movement to get used to, because what we're seeing in the past year—the past two years—has been a huge influx of young people joining unions. Kids who came of age during the 'occupy' movement, during Black Lives Matter movement, and the nationwide school walkouts for immigration reform. Folks my age really spent their formative years organizing around issues they cared about. Now they're entering the workforce."
