You're invited to the César Chávez Celebration XVII celebration presented by NevadaLabor.com in cooperation with local labor unions. This event marks the seventeenth celebration of the life and lasting impact made by César Chávez.
The celebration will take place on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at the Grand Sierra Resort, inside the Tahoe Ballroom. There are some very special guests attending this year! Governor Sisolak will be delivering the evening's keynote address. This will be the first time in the organization's history (and Nevada's history) that a Nevada Governor will be attending! This is a remarkable moment for the organization and shows Governor Sisolak's commitment to advancing the interests of Labor.
Country music hall-of-famer Lacy J. Dalton will be performing a selection of songs. Ms. Dalton is a longtime Nevada resident where she is very involved in Nevada public affairs, especially as a wild horse advocate.
